Great location, very close to the city center and with easy access to public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times, making our stay more enjoyable. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom amenities.
the noise from other guests' celebrations kept us awake until very late at night. we did not have a good experience during our New Year's stay at this hotel.

Very very very noisy rooms, could hear toilet flushing, snorring neighbours, neighbours tv, etc. paper thin walls, even a sneeze could be heard like it was in the room. Also outside noise was like a freeway though the room. Booked the room with dinner and breakfast, was very below average. Hotel does not deserve 4 starts not even 2. I travel a lot and always in a 4 star hotel, this was by far the worst ever! When I complained about the noise and asked for a more quiet room, the hotel personell replied there was none. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, previous occupant hairs could be found all over. We will never stay here again and recommend that no one will do so. Also very overpriced.

I must say, our recent stay at Dolarea was simply fabulous. The old refurbished building exuded charm and the location by the river was picturesque. The lady at the reception was incredibly kind and talkative, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight of our stay was indulging in a perfect dinner at the hotel's fantastic restaurant. The 3-course meal, priced at just 19.80€, was absolutely amazing and worthy of a Michelin star. And let's not forget the very, very good breakfast they served us. Despite a few minor drawbacks, including a lack of effective air conditioning and a slight mix-up with the room and payment, our overall experience at Dolarea was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel for its great position, impressive low price, and warm hospitality.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The building is renovated beautifully and staff is courteous and welcoming. The comfortable rooms feature exposed wood decoration and modern facilities. The location of the hotel is conveniently accessible, being just a short drive away from a nearby city. The bar and restaurant serve delicious food made with local ingredients, and the breakfast was tasty and fresh.

The hotel has an interesting history as part of a Middle Ages palace, I enjoyed the wooden structure of the place which gave it rustic charm. The staff were very helpful and had excellent service. , the bar and restaurant offered great food options. It is in a great location with easy access to the surrounding area and maps were available.
The breakfast could have been better, not much choice and it was not as good as expected. , the internet connection was not reliable, and there was not enough shower amenities provided.

The value for money at Dolarea was fantastic, with an amazing old refurbished building and a Michelin-starred restaurant offering a perfect dinner at an impressive low price. The staff were kind, talkative, and provided excellent service, and the hotel's unique Middle Ages palace setting added to the charm. The comfortable and clean rooms, along with the modern break out spaces, made for a pleasant stay.
The hotel breakfast menu could be improved with more choices and better quality.

We were blown away by this unique hotel! The facilities were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond, even providing transportation to the airport. The location was perfect - just a short drive from the city, giving us easy access to all the area's attractions. Can't fault the property in any way.

We stayed at the unique Hotel Dolarea, a part of a Middle Ages palace, for a weekend getaway. The property was beautifully clean and the staff were great. The bar served reasonably priced food and had a fascinating press mechanism from the winery/cider. The modern rooms had plenty of natural light and comfortable furnishings. The hotel's location by the river and old windmill added to its charm. it was a perfect base for exploring the region.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Breakfast items could have been improved with cleaner tables and better scrambled eggs.
